Patrick began painting at an early age and received recognition and awards for his work from the moment he started school. He studied fine art at Augusta College under the tutelage of such influential artists as Jim Rosen and Janice Williams, and was fortunate to have been accepted into their Italian study abroad program.

Later, as Preparator for the Morris Museum of Art, Patrick became inspired by many of the great Southern masters. Upon moving to Atlanta in 1993, Patrick garnered a merchandising position for a corporate art gallery and quickly positioned himself into sales and eventually management. While still painting whenever he could, the demands of high pressure sales and management were beginning to take their toll on his creative energies so, in 2002, Patrick made the decision to paint full time.

After his first solo show in 2007 and a near sell-out show in 2010, Patrick’s work can now be found in galleries and corporate collections all over the country. Patrick’s work has been used in TV and film and a few of his most recent acquisitions include the DC, Houston, LA offices along with the Atlanta headquarters of Servcorp International, the 2012 HGTV Green Home, and the personal collection of actress/comedian Melissa McCarthy.
